How to Use:

1. Base Layer – Rust/Bare Metal Colour:
   Apply your chosen undercoat (rust, steel, or base colour). Let it cure fully for 12–24 hours.
2. Apply Chipping Medium – Vallejo Chipping Medium:
   Spray or brush on a thin, even coat. A lighter application gives finer chips. Allow to dry for around 30 minutes.
3. Top Layer – Final Paint Colour:
   Apply a thin layer of acrylic paint over the medium. Avoid thick layers, as these may peel off in large sections.
4. Drying Time:
   Leave the top coat to dry for 15 minutes to 1 hour. It should be dry to the touch but not fully cured.
5. Chipping Effect – Tool Abrasion:
   Using a toothpick, stiff brush, or similar tool, gently scratch or rub the surface. This will lift sections of the top layer, revealing the base colour beneath for a realistic weathered look.
