The Vallejo Weathering Effects range, have been formulated with permanent pigments and water-based acrylic resins, have been developed to represent the effects of time and weather on models and dioramas.

Black Splash Mud is a very dark colour, found in earth which is very rich in vegetal substratum, similar to peat, as in wooded and humid areas and in the north of Europe.
